Milhaus receives approval to develop 193 units in Carmel, IN
Posted on February 16, 2011 by Milhaus Development

A partnership led by Gershman Brown Crowley and Milhaus received unanimous approval last night by the City of Carmel Plan Commission for its proposal to build 193 apartments at the intersection of Old Meridian Street and Pennsylvania Street in the Meridian Corporate Corridor. Named Penn Circle for the roundabout anchoring the southern tip of the property, the three and four story buildings will be among the most desirable rental addresses in this rapidly growing city of 80,000 people. The project design includes one and two bedroom units, fitness studio, yoga room, pool/courtyard, and many energy saving and sustainable features such as rain gardens, on-site recycling, white roofs, high-efficiency appliances, recycled materials, safe paints, and efficient windows. The group is working toward a construction start in May of 2011. The Gene B. Glick Company will be the property manager.
